"The arrival at Rio Real is narrow and tucked between the housing. On the first 11 holes this turned out to be so.
It seems to be overbooked all the time, so rounds of 5 and more hours are obviously daily fare.
There is no possibility to buy a sandwich or so after 9 holes.
The buggies are crap. They are loud, clattery and we were almost suffering of a carbon monoxide poisoning.
The last 7 holes although are at least beautiful and reward you for some inconvenience." - Husse

"course ruined by poor service at pro shop.for second year running the only course yhat would not give refund for one of our players not able to play genuine medical reason.
not allowed white tees.noticed car window smashed in car park however must admit were some good holes.be careful buggies lethal going downhill esp 11th"

"Rio Real is a great course...it is always so slow...we took 5 and half hours...waiting on groups in front...it always seems to be that way.
Customer service there has improved..it used to be awful!!"

"Ther we had a terrible starting situation. At my starting time there have been waiting 4 flights in front of us on tee Nr 1. We played 5 hours and 30 minutes for 18 holes. Next time before playing I check the situation for starting." - walt

"Noisy course in bad shape. Fairways wet and often muddy. Greens overwatered and very slow; the ball flattered. Tees are overplayed. Overaged and stinky buggies. Course is not recommendable to play for good players as long as the conditions are not improving significantly." - Archie
