Description

La Quinta golf course
Designed by Tri world champion and Ryder Cup champion Manuel Piñero. It is one of the finest golf courses in the area, adapting to all levels of play. It satisfies both the amateur golfer and the rofessional. Highlighted for the speed of the greens as well as the quality of service offered at the golf club. La Quinta has 27 holes. Divided into 3 nine hole course, integrated in a splendid natural landscape of exceptional beauty, where you can see the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains that surround the Valley Golf of Benahavis. The combination of these three courses gives the golfer a wide range of gaming possibilities. The San Pedro course A, is an open course of wide fairways, therefore, the golfer must often use the woods and long irons. The Ronda course B, a great course, with narrow fairways and greens that are more technical. The Guadaiza course C, with the reform done several years ago, has become one of the rounds that host the European Tour Championships. It is a more permissive course, enjoying many changes of level and numerous dog legs that make it just as exciting as the previous. In addition, the new catering service will allow the player not only enjoy a great day of golf, but indulge in an exceptional cuisine. The La Quinta Golf Academy by Manuel Piñero has an exceptional facility that can work all aspects of play including the course. It is equipped with sophisticated technology, such as, digital swing analysis, allowing students to progress in getting a perfect swing.

2012-02-15 - "The layout is very interesting and rewards straight and exact play. The greens are very good, the maintenance of the cours was very good. The brown color of the fairways is normal during that time but the greenskeepers build wonderful tees into these areas. worth coming back" - Dr. Stamm

2012-01-28 - "The course is very good but as you cannot take buggies on the grass fairways, the overall experience is less enjoyable. In some cases the walk from concrete cart path to middle of fairway is too much.I have an apartment on La Quinta but select other courses to play for the above reason. I can understand if the conditions are wet but La Quinta always have this rule even in dry conditions." - the golfer

2011-11-05 - "The heavy rain of the last two days made the fairways muddy. Lateral water on many places. Thr greens, tees and bunkers were not in a good shape. Green no. A/4 is almost unplayable regularily. Driving range is closed, but neither the shop nor the marshall mentioned it. There was also no message at the range. In total: a poor customer satisfaction with no extra fee discount. We played course A and B." - Archie

2011-11-04 - "I really enjoyed playing the coarse and found it in good condition, the bunkers were poor due to the heavy rain. We only managed to play 14 holes as we were called in due to thunder and lightening when this cleared up we could not finnish as it became dark.I would play it again and I will try to re-visit next year" - S.NAJDUCH
