Description

 San Roque Old golf course
San Roque Old Golf Course opened in 1990 and was designed by David Tomas in collaboration with owner Asahi Kanko. San Roque Old is an 18 hole, 72 par championship course consisted of 6134 metres with spectacular mountain views. The first 9 holes are characterised with Oak forests and the last 9 with difficult water hazards to avoid. You need to be accurate at San Roque Old due tight fairways and undulating greens. The course is always in perfect condition as the San Roque standard predicts.

San Roque Old Reviews

2012-04-21 - "Over priced, over rated, far too expensive, no drinks service, rude staff and basically a very poor experience. Will not return or recommend !!"

2012-03-21 - "Our experience this visit was not a good one . We played both the New and Old courses and whilst you could not fault the courses or the condition , the customer experience was very poor . Driving Range closed for day 1 with no notice . Open for day 2 , balls cost 3 euro per 25 and were so poor quality we did not use 50% of the amount we purchased . At no point did any member of staff enquire if we has a good day or needed any assistance . This was our 6th visit to Ran Roque and it seems that whilst very busy they have lost all focus on the CUSTOMER and my group felt it was by far the poorest of the 6 courses we visited ."

2012-02-22 - "From the time we pulled into the parking lot, we were treated like we did not belong. No one was kind to us except a member that we let play through. We were told we could not eat at the restaurant when we pulled up to use the bathroom. No one assisted us with where to go. There was no starter. GPS was not working. Course was okay but we had better experiences at other places. Staff needs to know we are spending good money and should be treated like members for the day - the price we paid deserved better customer service."

2011-08-17 - "This is a must for any serious golfer and it is easy to see why the European Tour used it for their Q School. Every hole is different and in excellent condition. The greens are fast and full of subtle borrows that require a delicate touch. The only disappointment were the bunkers as they lacked depth of sand especially those around the greens. In summary, an excellent course and a strong test of golf." - Graham Lawson
