"The course was very dry which we saw on a lot of courses at the Costa del Sol. We will not play again on this course with a two ball; too many slow four balls (due to the hotel belonging to Almenara?)

"The course is not easy but fair, calls for accurate drives and very good putting skills. It is in good shape with quite a few GURs but excellent greens. Very nice setting and scenery. Decent price performance ratio (I booked a special with reduced greenfee including buggy)" - Felix

"Almenara is a wonderfully scenic course with some very challenging holes. Use of strokesaver is recommended. This is the 5th time I have played here and I will return. Please note that some buggy paths are very steep and the buggy brakes wopuld not fill you with confidence." - Irish golfer.
