Montenmedio Reviews

Rating: 2.8 of 5
2018-05-06 - "Beautiful setting but let down by the quality of the product. The course was virtually empty (unusual for Southern Spain for a Sunday) and its standard was poor at best. The buggy paths were merely unmade tracks, the tees were in a poor state and the greens worse than any other that I have played here. Overall less than satisfactory." - Steve Quinn

2016-05-25 - "Excellent course, a stiff challenge. Very scenic and in great condition. Be careful not to get lost, as hole markers not too clear. Very hilly course, a stiff walk, take a buggy if in doubt. Very enjoyable day" - David

2013-02-23 - "A good golf course in pretty good condition in relatively secluded country, though easy to find.I played in beautiful weather on an almost empty course, which may suggest that the green fee is just a little high." - Peter Lockwood.

2012-09-12 - "Having played Montenmedio for the last 10 years and always enjoyed it, I was very dissapointed with the condition of the course - particularly the greens - a mix of grass, bare earth and cabbage. Add to this a price of 69 euros per person plus 40 euros for the buggy, and I will not be returning." - Martin Bayes

2012-06-08 - "Course is set in a very attractive environmenmet and is well presented. Not overly long (apart from some of the par threes), but it is very tight in places with every fairway being lined by trees. At some holes there are just too many trees eating into the fairway (or even in the middle of the fairway) which gets a bit exasperating - you do not expect good drives into fairways to be blocked out by trees. Having said all that it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area." - E
