Description

Guadalhorce golf course
Guadalhorce is the home course of Jose Maria Jimenez. The first nine are parkland type design and the second has more elevated greens and hillier fairways, making play a little more difficult. Tee-times are only available on weekdays and in the morning. If you can find the course we recommend you try it.

Guadalhorce Reviews

Rating: 3.8 of 5
2012-04-30 - "Good holiday friendly course to play. Although busy on the day we played and wet we finished in 4hours 15mins walking. Good protected greens needing good iron play. Bunkers in good condition (I should know as went into most around the greens). Greens are a good test as many thin and long."

2012-04-27 - "As usual we enjoyed our experience thoroughly. After 5 or 6 years I still find it very hard to score on 15th and 16th. We really would not have any real complaints ang look forward to many more games next year. Regards"

2011-09-30 - "charming and in a very good condition. Surroundings outside the course is not fantastic and the incoming flights were exactly passing the course few hundreds meters over us, but a nice course to play"

2011-04-13 - "The course was in reasonable condition, with good greens. I enjoy playing this course. It is easy to walk, and offers a good but fair challenge. There are holes you can just hit out at the ball, and others that require a bit of course management. The clubhouse is a stunning building. I have played it a few times over the years, and I think this was the first time I've ever got to the course without taking a wrong turning. Your guide how to get there is good, but it might be worth warning clients how difficult it can be to get there."

2011-03-23 - "We walked without any difficulty, The course is pleasant to play but difficult to find although much easier than it used to be. The layout of the couse is excelent with a good mix of holes. The second is a short be challenging par 3 that requires a precise tee shot. The surroundings are somewhat spoilt by the industrial are and railway line but this will not prevent us from returning to this excelent golf course"
